Our Story: A Postpartum Tradition with a Modern Twist

During the postpartum period, I was always given panjeeri by either my mum or mother-in-law. However, when the lockdown hit and I had just had my baby, I found myself unable to get my hands on this nourishing treat. What was I going to do?

Determined to recreate this traditional recipe, I embarked on a journey of trial and error, combined with extensive research. After several attempts, I finally perfected my panjeeri recipe. The taste and texture not only delighted me but also my entire family. My children enjoy it so much that we've made it a regular part of our diet.

Traditionally, panjeeri is made using butter or ghee, but I wasn't fond of the smell and texture. So, I substituted these with organic virgin coconut oil. This change not only enhanced the taste but also brought numerous additional health benefits.

As my confidence and passion for making panjeeri grew, I delved deeper into finding the perfect balance and variety of nuts and seeds. My goal was to create a blend that supports not only postpartum recovery but also general well-being. Each ingredient plays a crucial role in helping women feel better and, most importantly, stronger!

Making panjeeri is a long process that requires patience and time, but I love every moment of it. Knowing that others can benefit from this nutritious treat motivates me even more. I want people to feel good internally and enjoy eating it as much as my family and I do!

Don't just take our word for it. Read what our recents customers are saying...

I have tried panjeeri from many different stores in the past. Recently, I ordered some panjeeri for my family and found Neelum was able to advise me and cater for our needs. Neelum is wonderful. She has a personalised approach and is genuinely caring towards her customers. The panjeeri was freshly homemade and was not overly sweet. It was deliciously authentic and we have all enjoyed it as a healthy snack any time of the day. I would highly recommend Neelum’s Panjeeri Mix!

It tastes really nice but without the guilt of it containing lots of butter and sugar as it’s made with much healthier alternatives.
